How does SwipeStudio work?

What countries are Snapchat filters available in?

Snapchat Geofilter are currently available in the following countries - USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Mexico, Germany and France

Who will be able to see my filter?

Anyone who is within the geofence you mark over your venue will be able to view and use your filter on Snapchat.

How much will my Snapchat filter cost?

The total cost of your filter includes the cost of the design and the submission fee to be paid to Snapchat to make the filter available on the Snapchat App. The design fee is shown on the template and the submission fee varies based on the location, size of the geofence, the time and duration of the geofilter.

Can I get a custom design made specially for me?

Most certainly! Just tell us how you want your filter to be or send us some inspirations and we'll have our best designers create a design for you before your event! You can place your custom order by clicking here.

Why can’t I choose an earlier time?

The earliest start time available on Snapchat is what you can see on our website. You cannot pick an earlier time if it is not available on our website. This is because Snapchat reviews every filter they receive which requires a few hours before they can setup your filter on their app.

Which timezone is the start time set to?

The timezone of your start time is set to the local time at the location of your geofilter. For example, if the address you have entered for your geofilter is in Los Angeles, CA, the timezone will be PST. Likewise, if you enter an Australian or Canadian address, the start time will automatically set itself to the appropriate timezone of that address.

My payment was declined despite multiple attempts. Why is this happening?

Your payment could be declined for any of the following reasons:

  • You have exceeded the balance or credit limit available on your card.
  • The card data entered by you is incorrect
  • Your card has expired
  • The allowable number of PIN tries has been exceeded.
  • The payment has been declined because your card is reported lost.
  • Your card, or account the card is connected to, is invalid.
  • The card issuer could not be reached, so the payment could not be authorized.
  • The payment amount is invalid, or exceeds the amount that is allowed.
  • The payment has been declined as Stripe suspects it is fraudulent.
  • A transaction with identical amount and credit card information was submitted very recently.
  • The card does not support the specified currency.
  • The card does not support this type of purchase.
  • The card has been declined for an unknown reason.

    How can I edit my filter design?

    You can edit your design by going to your order page and clicking on the ‘modify filter’ button. Please note that editing your filter may result in an expiry of your original start time as Snapchat will have to review and approve your new design. In that case you will have to pick a start time from the available options shown on the submission details screen.

    How can I change the start time?

    You can change the start time by going to your order page and clicking on the ‘modify filter’ button.

    How can I change the location, position or the size of the geofence of my filter?

    You can modify your geofence by going to your order page and clicking on the ‘modify filter’ button. Please note that editing your filter may result in an expiry of your original start time as Snapchat will have to review and approve your new submission. In that case you will have to pick a start time from the available options shown on the submission details screen.

    How long will it take for my filter to get approved?

    Snapchat reviews every filter before its scheduled start time. In all likelihood your filter should get approved within 2 hours from the time you make a purchase. Sometimes it could take longer but it will be approved before the start time of your filter. We will send you an email as soon as your filter gets approved. You can also track the approval status of your filter on your order page.

    I didn’t receive any email regarding my order. How will I know if my order has been received and submitted to Snapchat?

    We will send you a confirmation email as soon as you make a purchase. In case you cannot locate the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder to locate the email. Alternatively, to track your order, you can login/sign up with the email ID you used to make your purchase. Once you log-in you will be able to the details of your filter. In case you still face issues you can email us at hello@swipestudio.co.


    REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION

    If my filter does not get approved will I receive a refund?

    In case your filter is rejected we will send you an email detailing why your filter was rejected. We will also credit the order amount to your SwipeStudio credit balance so that you can re-create your design. In case you do not want to re-create your design, you can respond to our email requesting for a refund and we will process a full refund of your order.

    If my filter does not work will I receive a refund?

    If your filter does not work, we will get in touch with Snapchat and request them for a refund in case the metrics indicate that your filter was not used.

    How do I cancel my Snapchat filter?

    You can cancel your filter by going to your order page and clicking on the ‘cancel order’ button. On cancelling your order, the order amount will be credited your SwipeStudio credit balance. This credit will automatically get applied to your next purchase. You can view your credit by logging into your account at https://swipestudio.co/home. In case you are logging in for the first time, please click on register and sign up using the email ID you used to place your order.
    Please note that you will not receive any credit or refund if you cancel the filter after it has gone live.
